Once having visited this wonderful country, having seen huge mountains covered with coniferous trees, down to the cosy towns located on the pristine Adriatic coast, having tasted delicious dishes made from freshly caught fish and seafood, they will want to come back again and again.

The country's many kilometres of coastline can be divided into three resort parts - the Budva Riviera, the Ulcin Riviera, Bar Rivera and the Herceg Nova Riviera.

Resorts of Budva Riviera

Budva is one of the most famous and popular resorts in Montenegro. There are many accommodation options for every taste and budget. The beaches are mostly pebbly; many were awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness. Most of the resort is focused on lovers of noisy and fun pastimes. There are a lot of entertainment and opportunities for active sports.

Becici is a small picturesque town where you can relax with children. Its main attraction is the wide sandy beach. The infrastructure is excellent, with many cafes and restaurants on the waterfront.

Rafailovici is a very picturesque small village where you can relax on a lovely beach. There are no such number of people here, as in the neighboring cities, and before a noisy and never sleeping Budva is really within walking distance.

Petrovac offers excellent accommodation options, hotels and apartments, surrounded by olive and pine trees. The rest is quite expensive. The city has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. During the day, you can spend time on the small pebble beach, stroll along the promenade in the evening, or visit the famous disco in the old castle of the XIX century.

Resorts Ulcinj Riviera

Ulcinj is one of the oldest cities in Montenegro. The coastline stretches for 30 kilometres, the number of sunny days, thanks to its good geographical position, is the largest in the country, and the water temperature is the highest. This place is located near the border with Albania, so Albanians make up a considerable percentage of tourists.

Ada-Bolna is an island with incredibly colourful wildlife. There are many nudist beaches in this place, famous throughout Europe, with fans of such a holiday.

Resorts Herceg Novi Riviera

Herceg Novi is an ancient city descending from the mountains to the purest sky-blue sea. It is very green, and the air is unique in terms of ecology, thanks to many coniferous trees and flowering shrubs. The city has an excellent tourist infrastructure, a wide variety of accommodation options, and excellent small cafes, where they often understand English speech. The beaches here are concrete slabs. The transparency of the water is incredible.

Tivat is a pine-covered slope and a stunningly beautiful small town along the sea. Beaches with soft sand and a gentle entry into the sea are perfect for families with children. Restaurants and cafes offer, perhaps, the best fish cuisine on the coast.

Montenegro is one of the few corners of Europe that has preserved nature and ecology in their almost original state. Here are incredibly colourful landscapes and friendly people ready to share a piece of their country.
